The Nyrstar Eat Street is always a highlight of the Moonah Taste of the World Festival, with an array of food stalls offering food from around the world.  Our food stalls for the 2018 event are:

  • Afghan Cuisine – curry, rice, felafal, sambosa, Koko, bolani, doogh (youghurt drink), tea
  • Bean Grinder – coffee!
  • Bentwood Coffee – coffee!
  • Bhutanese Community Hobart – yummy Bhutanese food
  • Cantina Latina – South American empanadas
  • Cosgrove High School – peri peri chicken and Mexican salad
  • Flamecake – Flammkuchchen – German pizza
  • Formosa Bites – Taiwanese sausages and seafood
  • Guilford Young College – a Turkish Delight Brownie created by the students
  • Harissa – a variety of vegan middle Eastern foods
  • Hazara Community of Southern Tasmania – Afghani food including bolani quabuli palau, rice, lamb and vegetables.
  • Hobart Malayali Association – Indian food
  • Italian Australian Day Centre – meatballs and lasagna
  • Kaki Lima Indonesian Street Food – beef rendang, chicken satay and gado-gado
  • Kusinang Pinoy (Filipin Cuisine) – spring rolls, ukoy, chicken adobo, lechong paksiw, kare-kare
  • Liberian Community – Cassaval leaf, rice, okro, kebabs, corn bread and banana bread
  • Lucky Sri Lankan Kitchen – rice, curries, chicken buriyani, egg rolls and spicy snacks
  • Mazar Kebab House – Afghani pizza, kebabs, rice and curry
  • Mende Cooking from Sierra Leone – spinach and beans, veggie mix, rice and African pie
  • Migrant Resource Centre, Tasmania – traditional foods from recently arrived communities
  • Munchies Street Food – Korean fried chicken, slaw, steamed bao bun, pork belly
  • Namaste Chai and Waffles – Stroopwafels
  • Smallest Pancakes in Town – traditional Dutch pofertjes
  • Tasmanian Chili Beer Company – non alcoholic Tasmanian beverages
  • Tasmanian Ethiopian Association Inc – traditional Ethiopian foods
  • The Taste of Salvadorian Food – pupuas, tamales, orchata, Salvadorian chips and salads
  • Tibet Kitchen – Tibetan Momo and vegetarian steamed and fried dumplings
