WORLD SONG AND BREATH

Sat 9 Mar, 12 – 2pm

The World of Song workshop will offer you a chance to relax and sing out no matter what your musical background or level of experience. You don’t have to be able to read music or know other languages to join in.

The workshop director and conductor of Sisongke Choir, Lyndall Edwards, will make sure you leave your cares behind and be your guide to:

• Learn simple tricks and techniques for making the most of your voice – on the day and in the days to come
• Learn and perform some terrific, inspirational music from around the world.

Language won’t be a barrier to joining in-in fact, the music makes the language that much easier – and it’s a great mental workout. At the same time the music uplifts your body and spirit. Wear comfortable clothing and drink a drink.
